Use Case 1 – Template management
Template management – goSmart® Designer
The template management includes document layout, document logic, data placement and template content. The designer can maintain the template on a graphical interface without any programming or scripting. Data from the Doxis eFiles, template-specific metadata and data from the Doxis user can be
used in the layout control, the document logic and in the template content.
Separate text from the template management – goSmart® TextRepository
The department administrator can take over text management by separating text content management from template management. This means, that the management of layout, document logic and data placement is still carried out by the designer. The template content/text management can now be carried out by the department administrator itself via the browser. The template contents can also be managed very easily in a multilingual, country- and department-specific manner.
Use case 2 – Template use
Document editing – goSmart® FormStation® nXt
With a seamlessly integrated document editor, the Doxis user can customize the document directly in Doxis. Template management determines which places in the document may be changed and formatted and which interactive document sections are offered for showing and hiding.
