For more than 50 years, Energie Südbayern has been the fair, safe and personal energy supplier and service provider for the region. Together with the subsidiaries Energienetze Bayern and ESB Wärme, Energie Südbayern forms the ESB group of companies. Energy supply, portfolio management, operation of energy networks and energy generation are the Group's core business areas and its investments. Around 160,000 households, 15,000 business customers and numerous public utilities and distributors rely on our products and services. With around 420 employees, trainees and trainees in the ESB group of companies, we stand for efficient service, flexible energy products and in-depth market knowledge of natural gas, green electricity and heating. Together with our affiliated and subsidiary companies, we develop innovative solutions and, as an experienced partner, assume responsibility for the region in all aspects of energy supply. We also have this responsibility for our climate, because climate protection concerns us all. Energie Südbayern has therefore completely neutralized the climate-impacting emissions associated with business activities for the period from 2019 to 2021. This resulted in around 22,500 tons of CO₂ compensates.
