Centralized and future-proof document creation with INVARIS

Ärzteversorgung Niedersachsen (AEVN) is an institution of the Lower Saxony Medical Association and a public corporation. Its statutory task is to provide its members with retirement, disability and survivors' benefits. The requirements for reliable, secure and efficient member communication are correspondingly high.

In order to modernize and standardize document creation in the long term, AEVN decided to use INVARIS software as a central solution.

initial situation

Prior to selecting providers, AEVN carried out a comprehensive requirements analysis together with an independent external consultant. After a proof-of-concept lasting several days, INVARIS was able to convincingly demonstrate the required functionality and performance and was awarded the contract for the project.

The solution used includes both the creation of batch documents (e.g. monthly runs) and on-demand documents for individual documents or reprints. It is supplemented by integrated output processing for collecting, sorting and bundling the generated documents as well as by the INVARIS Test Center for quality assurance in the editorial process.

Project outcome and benefits

Within six months, the previous systems were successfully replaced — even before new annual license costs were incurred. In this process, around 180 forms implemented. In further steps, the remaining systems will be gradually replaced.

When completed, this creates a central solution for AEVN's entire document generation with a production output of up to 1.25 million pages per year.
